Rehab Ultrasound Guided Injury Rx
Rehabilitative Ultrasound–Guided Injury Prevention & Recovery Program
Service Description
Rehabilitative Ultrasound Imaging (RUSI) is an advanced, real-time assessment and training tool used to identify hidden muscle dysfunction, tissue injury, and movement impairments that are not visible on X-ray or standard imaging. Unlike diagnostic imaging used only to “find damage,” rehabilitative ultrasound allows us to see how muscles, tendons, and connective tissue actually function during movement both at rest and under load. This technology is used to: • Detect muscle inhibition, asymmetry, and poor activation patterns • Identify early injury risk before pain develops • Monitor tissue healing and muscle thickness changes over time • Provide real-time visual biofeedback during rehabilitation exercises • Guide precision rehab programs for athletes and injured patients This is especially useful for athletes and injury victims. Especially when other methods have been attempted such as MRI, CT and X-ray with "noraml results".

We offer telehealth consultations for individuals who may be experiencing symptoms of whiplash. These virtual visits are intended to provide education, guidance, and support, but they are not a substitute for in-person care. Scope of Telehealth Services During a telehealth consultation, our clinicians may: Discuss your symptoms, history of injury, and possible diagnoses. Provide education on whiplash-related conditions. Offer recommendations for exercises, stretches, and self-management strategies. Suggest potential treatment options and referrals. Limitations of Telehealth for Whiplash A telehealth visit cannot replace a comprehensive in-person examination. We are unable to perform physical assessments such as orthopedic, neurological, or imaging tests that may be necessary for a full diagnosis. Our recommendations are provided for educational purposes and should not be taken as a definitive diagnosis or treatment plan. Follow-Up Care We strongly recommend that all patients experiencing whiplash symptoms follow up with a local licensed healthcare provider—such as a chiropractor (DC) or medical doctor (MD)—to confirm findings and receive hands-on assessment and care. If symptoms worsen, new neurological symptoms appear, or recovery is not progressing as expected, you should seek immediate in-person medical evaluation. Acknowledgment By participating in a telehealth consultation, you acknowledge that you understand the limitations of online care and agree to follow up with a qualified local healthcare provider for a full evaluation and treatment.
